How to play

The deck has 94 cards. Every card lies face up, so you can see all rows. Only the order of the stock is secret. The seed chooses the first dealer, and play goes to the left.

  1. The deal. Each hand starts with one card for each player, face up. A number card goes into your row. A honey card or the twin wick goes beside it.
  2. Draw or stop. On your turn, draw one card from the stock, or stop and keep your points. A player who stops is out of the hand.
  3. The spill. A number that is already in your row spills your jar. You score 0 for the hand and you are out of it.
  4. The saucer. If you hold a saucer, a repeated number does not spill your jar. The saucer and the repeated card go away, and you stay in. You can hold one saucer only.
  5. The snuffer. Pick any player who is still in, yourself too. That player stops at once and keeps their points.
  6. The bellows. Pick any player who is still in, yourself too. That player draws three cards. The draws stop early if that player spills or fills the jar.
  7. The full brim. Seven different numbers in your row fill the jar. The hand ends at once, and you get 15 points more.
  8. The score of a hand. Add your numbers. Double that sum if you hold the twin wick. Then add your honey cards, and 15 for a full brim. Example: 3, 7 and 12 with the twin wick and a +4 score (3 + 7 + 12) × 2 + 4 = 48.
  9. The end. The game ends after the hand in which a player reaches 200 points. The highest total wins. A tie at the top plays one more hand.

Why it is fair

Every shuffle comes from a secret seed. You see its fingerprint when the game starts and the seed itself when it ends, so you can check every card. Verify a game.
