How to play
Everyone has a sheet of thirteen boxes. The game lasts thirteen turns each, one box per turn. The seed picks who starts; then play goes around the table.
Your turn
- Roll all five dice.
- Keep any dice you like, and roll the others again. You may do this twice, so a turn has up to three rolls.
- Write the dice into one empty box of your sheet. If they do not fit what the box asks for, the box scores 0. You must fill a box every turn, even a poor one.
These dice can go into Full house for 25, Threes for 9, Sixes for 12, or Three alike for 21. Choose the box that helps your sheet most.
The upper boxes
- Ones to Sixes
- Only the dice that show that face count: 5, 5, 2, 5, 6 in Fives is 15.
- Bonus
- 35 points when your six upper boxes add up to 63 or more.
The lower boxes
| Box | It needs | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Three alike | Three dice or more show the same face | the sum of all five dice |
| Four alike | Four dice or more show the same face | the sum of all five dice |
| Full house | Three of one face and two of another | 25 |
| Short run | Four faces in a row, such as 2, 3, 4, 5 | 30 |
| Long run | Five faces in a row: 1 to 5, or 2 to 6 | 40 |
| Five alike | All five dice show the same face | 50 |
| Tally | Any dice | the sum of all five dice |
The end
When every box of every sheet is full, add up your sheet and the bonus. The most points wins. Ties share the place.
At the online table
- Tap a die to keep it, then tap “Roll”. Tap a box to choose it, then tap it again to score. On a keyboard: the keys 1 to 5 keep a die, R rolls, and Enter scores the chosen box.
- Each turn has a timer. If it runs out, the table finishes your turn for you.
- Empty seats are taken by bots. Bots are always marked as bots.
- Every die comes from a secret seed. You see its fingerprint when the game starts, and the seed itself when it ends, so you can check every roll. Verify a game.
