Terms of use

These terms apply when you play games on Tavernly (“we”, “us”). By playing, you agree to them.

Who can play

You must be 13 or older. Players aged 13 to 17 play with chat and hat tips turned off.

Guest play

You play as a guest. Your browser keeps a random device key and a session so you can return to your seat. We give you a name from a fixed word list and one of our pictures. You cannot type a name or a message anywhere: the only words you can send are the fixed reactions in the game (adults only).

Fair play

• Do not use software to play for you, and do not work with another player to help one person win.
• Do not attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
• If you leave a game, a bot plays your seat so the others can finish.

Moderation

Because players cannot write text, there is very little to moderate. If you see a problem, use the contact form. If we limit or end someone’s access, we tell them why (a statement of reasons) and how to ask us to look again.

Free service

The game is free. There are no payments, no prizes and no ads. We may change or stop the service at any time.

Our work

The games, their names, their art and their text are ours. Each game is made by us for Tavernly; none is connected to any other game or publisher.

Liability

We provide the service “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost games or for interruptions.
